Our First One Hundred Years
The Parish.of St. Mary’s was founded by Archbishop Dennis Joseph Dougherty (later Dennis Cardinal Dougherty) of the Philadelphia Archdiocese in 1919 to meet the needs of students at Keystone State Normal School (now Kutztown University).
